Course Description

Preparing for an interpreter certification exam can be nerve racking. Limited availability of quality practice materials can make test prep feel impossible! The stimulus material presented in this program covers a variety of topics potentially contained on a Basic to Advanced level test. Sample interpretations, rendered by highly skilled, certified interpreters are offered to allow viewers to see various options of successful interpretations and transliterations.

In this course, a Native ASL user signs a vignette for the learner to interpret. The same vignette is again presented with sample interpretation(s). This follows a format similar to many certification exams allowing the learner to simulate testing format.
